Child care committee

The child care provider licensing committee, in concurrence with the department, makes rules that govern center-based and residential child care as necessary to protect qualifying children's common needs for a safe and healthy environment. This committee meets every 2 months on the second Thursday of the month. Meetings are conducted over Zoom with a physical location available (195 N 1950 W Salt Lake City, UT 84116). Meetings are open to the public. If you would like to attend in person, please register with Kim Rice at least 48 hours in advance by calling (385) 232-0745.
